Sorry, its a gonner! It is now a 243 CDI .....had a project come up rather unexpectedly .....but In a week or two I might have some very nice barrels...I will let you know what I end up with and get you some pictures.....any caliber specifically your after? I may have a 22-250 or a 22-243 winchester in the near future...... do you have any you would be interested in getting rid of/trading? Rechambering?

I have a 7mm-08 I’m kinda partial to, a 270, 300 win mag. I’d let go. I’d love a 25-06, 220 swift, 22-250, or 375 ruger

I have a 1.25"x24" 220 swift (not set up for barrel nut).... headspaced correctly on 2 different actions but could require some work to headspace correctly (like a custom ground barrel lug)

I like to play with different options that’s why I love the savage it’s an easy swap I could probably shave a barrel lug down easy enough. What did you have it on?

Originally a savage 110T.....80's model single shot target action in a choate tactical sniper stock with a sightron 24x dot reticle 1:14 twist......was my short walk coyote calling rifle.....about a 3 ounce trigger....shot 1 hole groups with sierra 52grn hp and hornady 52 grn a-max..... not 100 rounds through it total, screwed it onto a different 110 a couple years later and it headspaced and shot great still......110t became a 300 ultra mag and got sold...other 110 became my beloved 44-06......I can make about anything for a savage.....put a 458 socom ar15 barrel on on a model 11 a couple months ago and built a 22-243 winchester on a savage axis with a 1:8 twist 1.25" bull in an mdt chassis for a guy....he is shooting 73 grn hornady's at a touch over 3500fps.....redding has dies on midway for around 125$

Let’s talk about this 44-06 straight wall? I can’t find much info online
