Natasha has her feet planted solidly on a pile of poo.
It can be interesting to watch how some selfish folk try to abuse an "all you can eat" meal.
I've told this story before but it bears repeating now. There are several open buffet restaurants within driving distance and on the rare occasions we eat out that's where I prefer to go. Several years back we were seated at a window table in one and watched as four well dressed gray headed white ladies, each wearing a modest pile of flashing gold jewelry, crawled out of a Cadillac with New Jersey plates.
They came in and took a table next to ours. About half way through their meal they asked the nice little waitress if they could each have doggy bags for left overs for their doggies back at the motel. She said no but they whined so much she called the floor manger over. He also said no at first but finally relented and told the girl to give them take-out boxes for their left overs.
We watched them finish eating and then go load their plates one last time with so much fried chicken they couldn't close the lid on the plastic foam boxes and then started to leave with their 'leftovers'. The alert manager saw it too; he stopped them and collected their over flowing boxes. They were quite Italian abusive loud and NYC foul mouth angry about it and not a one showed any shame about being cheating thieves. He remained a soft spoken gentleman and told a passing waitress to dump the boxes. Two of the old gals stuffed 2-3 greedy handfuls of the complimentary mints from a jar at the exit into their voluminous purses. Those biddies were obviously well off and I suspect the only hungry dogs were themselves.
I mentioned it to the manager as we left, he said wasn't real common but it does happen. My wife and I each took one mint when we left, as was proper.
Some of these all you can eat places like at the casinos will not give you a doggie bag anymore.
I saw this at The Inn of the Mountian gods, so people tried to stuff it all in purses.
Good grief people the all you can eat buffet was only seven dollars. Twenty for a group of four.
And the selection of food was great, just starve real good before you go.
By the way if your ever in Ruidoso go check it out, the food was great and the salad bar is awsome.
the no sharing rule has been in place at
every buffet or all you can eat place i've
ever been since i've been old enough to
this is just one of the times the race card
was beat by a straight flush and shenaynay
didn't like it.
