I found a little information in the sticky faqs.
I am looking for the bore and twist dimensions for the 58 caliber
I am interested to understand what versions or breech plug types can be rechambered to .50-70 and something for the 58.
The 58 might be some where near a .577 Snider. If this is the wrong place can you point me in the right direction.
I think this would be a good way to get some larger bore BP rifles without breaking the bank.

Ireload,

Below copied from the FAQ sticky thread.

.45 cal Muzzleloader 1:56"
.50 cal Muzzleloader 1:28"
.58 cal Muzzleloader 1:66"

From my memory, the 50 cal huntsmen we converted to 50-70s were around .512 to .513 inch groove

The one 58 cal Huntsman we converted to a 24ga slug gun has a groove of .585". FWIW, a friend of mine uses 24ga Fio. shotgun hulls in his .577 snyder so you might be able to convert a 58 cal huntsman to .577 snyder. Twist is kinda slow so your projectile selection might be limited.

Copy that. I load full bore diameter RBs in 24ga hulls for my 24ga Slug gun that we made from the 58cal Huntsman.
