CVA Wolf reassembly issues

I picked up a near new CVA Wolf off gunbroker. It was partly disassembled but otherwise complete and in good condition. It arrived yesterday and after several hours of trying to reassemble, I'm a little stuck. I have it almost all the way together but the snag I have hit is installing the trigger & guard while compressing the hammer spring.

This is how the hammer and springs look from the trigger guard. I want to make sure I have it right. Is this the correct spring configuration?

Red arrow is pointing to the end of the spring that needs to bend toward the back of the receiver to apply pressure to the hammer.

Or do I have it backwards? Any help - or especially pics of the correct configuration would be much appreciated.

I have a Wolf, a terrific rifle, but I never took it down that far. I can't imagine a new gun being shipped like that. I'd send it somewhere.
Miss Lilly - please give bucktailpath a hand and take a picture of your Wolf receiver, post it so he can see if he has it assembled correctly.

I've done trigger jobs on H&Rs, an Encore and a CVA Optima Elite, the CVA was the most difficult to reduce trigger pull, and I never really reduced it as much as I wanted, so I contacted BPI and sent it in for a factory trigger job, you may want to do the same.

I have a CVA optima v2 there is no reason to take the rifle apart like this an not recommended by CVA. If I were you I send you're rifle to CVA to put together correctly or a local gunsmith who knows what they are doing.
As I understand his statement, he didn't take it apart, he bought it that way and is trying to reassemble it.
