Rawide67.... I totally agree with you. He should have quit taking and spending peoples money if he knew he couldn't deliver the product. I spoke with him on the phone back around September/2024 and he told me he really should be working Saturdays to catch up on orders. Well why didn't he? I own three Bullberry barrels from the previous Bullberry owner and they are tackdrivers. It appears that Troy has disgraced the Bullberry name.Years ago, I had a similar situation. Got no response, no reply, no refund, from the business.
Until….. I called their state attorney generals office. Each state has an AG office, and as far as I know, each AG has a business fraud unit. He took your money, did not supply a product, sounds like theft to me. It’s a pathetically poor business practice, assuming this “business“ is still in operation, to not answer the phone, or emails, or update customers in any way.
I wouldn’t be interested in sob stories about too many orders, being overworked, I only do this in my off hours, blah blah. Rule #1 when you’re in a hole, stop digging. Quit taking orders and making promises you can’t fulfill.
nitemann.... may I ask when you ran the post on the Hurricane Utah facebook page ? May I ask when he called you and the other guy ? Troy owes me 619.00 ( deposit ) for two Encore barrels. I have been unable to contact Troy by phone or email since around September of 2024. You are correct, Troy must owe tens of thousands of dollars, parts and firearm receivers to customers. I am not local to Hurricane but I am still thinking about contacting a local Hurricane attorney. To me, it's the point of Troys actions as much as the loss of 619.00. Thank you for your post and updateI ran a post on the Hurricane Utah community facebook page. He finally responded and said he would call me and another guy, which he did. The number he called me from was the Bullberry number. He hasn't responded to any phone calls since August. Not sure what's going on but I know for a fact he is not at his old location. He owes a lot of folks money including me.
I ran the the post on 11-28-24, got several responses from local residents but none that really did any good. Troy replied on 1-7-25 stating he would call me and another gentleman that day, which he did.nitemann.... may I ask when you ran the post on the Hurricane Utah facebook page ? That's too bad, some allow longer.Capital one says that they cannot refund the charge because it has been over a year.
When i spoke to Troy I told him he needed to put something on his website to let us know what's going on. Hopefully this is step in the right direction. This is NOW posted on Bullberry Legacy website:

UPDATE January 2025
We are not currently taking new orders. Due to high demand, supply chain and labor shortages over the past several years we have fallen behind. Customers who have placed orders and paid deposits will be contacted as soon as possible. It will take a little time to work through this backlog but we will address each and every customer with current orders. I am committed to honoring the orders, but not willing to sacrifice quality. I have always loved working with guns and the people in the fire arms community, it is my joy and passion. The goal is to resume taking orders as quickly as possible.
tred1956... thank you for the info regarding Bullberry's website update. I will never trust Troy again. He only posted this because he was getting squeezed. If Troy was honest and transparent, he would have posted some info on his website months ago. It appears he may have spent our money. I feel bad for the people who sent him parts and receivers. He blames high demand, labor shortages and supply chain? I may agree with high demand. Most businesses work Saturdays or overtime to meet high demand. I always did. Why did his help quit ? And I won't buy his supply chain shortage excuse. I want a refund of 619.00 as soon and possible. I would like to know the last time Troy completed a customer barrel and shipped it. Again... thank you for your postThis is NOW posted on Bullberry Legacy website:

bryan....you have a good point. And thank you for the info you have posted.Did he say if he was selling his motorcycles, hotrod, etc. to pay us back?
Stillshooting.... I agree with you 100%. Troy waitind until he got squeezed on facebook. He couldn't hide anymore. Trust is broken. He owes me 619.00I agree Troy’s post to his website should have been made a long time ago, he should also have been communicating to his customers and not ignoring messages or calls. Now his words are hard To believe and trust has been broken.
Levi... wow you own alot of frames. Are you aware of at least three companies out there that build Encore and Contender barrels ?I owned several Bullberry barrel and stock sets. Been getting back into Contenders again. Still own 12 frames. Was wanting to order a few contender rifle barrels and stock set. Guess now I just look for used ones. Really hope it get worked out.
